Children staying at Tsala are in for a treat. The younger ones get to stay in their own tree house in the enchanted forest, pampered and cared for like the princes and princesses of their dreams.
Tsala has ten suites catering for children six years and older in a safe, magical environment. There are also six two bedroomed villas for families, the perfect setting for spending relaxed family time.
Children staying at Tsala are treated with special turn-downs, bedtime stories and children’s meals at the restaurants ensuring that they are comfortable and having fun, so that parents can relax and enjoy their holidays. Babysitting facilities are available on request.
For the older children Plettenberg Bay offers activities and things to keep them occupied throughout their stay.
Tsala welcomes all children 6 years and over in the Treetop Suites and children of all ages in the Villas but this is subject to the occupancy of the lodge.
A deposit of 50% of the total cost of the stay, with a minimum of one night, is required to confirm your reservation.
Cancellations between 7 & 30 days prior to arrival will result in 25% of the total cost of the stay being withheld.
Cancellations between 6 & 4 days prior to arrival will result in 50% of the total cost of the stay being withheld.
Cancellations within 4 days of arrival will result in 100% of the total cost of the stay being withheld.
Premature departures may be charged for the full extent of the stay that was booked and confirmed.
Receipt of deposit or prepayment assumes unconditional agreement to our terms
We suggest that guests are covered by travel insurance in the event of an unforeseen cancellation.

Meals at Tsala are exquisitely presented in the glass walled dining room. For those wanting to enjoy the morning sunshine - our spectacular dining deck, suspended above the forest floor, is the perfect spot. For casual a la carte, the award winning Zinzi Restaurant is just a stroll from Tsala.
Tsala make breakfast a highlight of your day, the chefs have prepared a menu that caters for every breakfast whim. Begin with their plentiful continental breakfast with homemade muffins, fresh croissants, and selection of cheeses, cold meats and fresh fruit. Move on to their hot menu, offering a selection of eggs to order, gourmet omelettes, some sweet treats and finish off with a glass of bubbly or their speciality coffee.
A light lunch and 24hour room service menu is available for those wishing to relax and dine in the privacy of their suite or villa.
Self Drive Options
Ideally situated between the coastal towns of Knysna and Plettenberg Bay in the Western Cape, The Country House is a wonderful location from which to explore the beauty of the celebrated Garden Route, or just to spend time relaxing at the peaceful lodge. Only 10km from Plettenberg Bay and 22km from Knysna along the N2, our signboards are clearly visible at the entrance to our access road, which leads you to the security entrance to the Estate. The gravel road is 1,5 km to the gate.

Tsala is a 1 hr drive from George, 2.5 hrs from Port Elizabeth, and 3 hrs drive from Gorah. Both car rentals and road transfers are readily available at all centres.
