The Stone House has 20 sumptuous, beautifully appointed bedrooms with bathrooms en suite, each with a lovely view of the gardens. Each of the 16 Superior Suites have private balconies looking onto the Magalies River. Each superior suite has:

The magnificent double volume "Main Hall" has a 20 seater Mahogany table and is ideal for formal meals and grand occassions. The "Orangerie" is perfect for romantic intimate five course dinners, set with the finest crystal and silver and hosted by the very best of service. Fine cognac can be enjoyed in the Compass Bar after a superb dinner. A roaring fire in winter adds to the cosy atmosphere.
The Stone House has 2 double and 2 twin bedrooms, beautifully appointed with bathrooms en suite, each with a lovely view of the indigenous gardens.

A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation. On-line reservations to be paid immediately with credit card when making a reservation. When paying your deposit by EFT (Electronic fund transfer) the deposit is required within 4 days of confirmation.
All reservations must be guaranteed by a valid credit card
Should the booking be cancelled more than 20 days prior to arrival, no cancellation fee will be charged.
Should the booking be cancelled less than 15 days prior to arrival, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
Should the booking be cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival on non-arrival, a
100% cancellation fee will be charged.
We suggest that guests are covered by travel insurance in the event of an unforeseen cancellation.

The opening of The Bridge Bistro restaurant at De Hoek Country Hotel was a very exciting event for food lovers in Magaliesberg, bridging the gap, so to speak, between the sumptuous formality of the Conservatory restaurant and the elegant conference dining rooms
The Bridge Bistro is open on Friday, Saturday & Sunday for lunch and dinner by appointment only. A maximum of 50 guests can be seated in the restaurant. For special occasions, including weddings, the whole restaruant can be booked out without a venue charge.
The cuisine and 5 star service at De Hoek is internationally acclaimed. Michael Holenstein oversees his kitchens with much aplomb and finesse. The style of food served is French continental, and a new 5 course menu is designed every day, according to the freshest produce available. The menu is a combination of interesting flavours and the food is beautifully presented with a great deal of pride by a dedicated team.
Dinners at De Hoek are refined elegant affairs involving the best of French cuisine with influences of the Mediterranean and Swiss. Michael is passionate about food, and delights guests with his presentation and quality
Menus are designed personally for guests and wines are chosen accordingly by Michael who in 2008 was nominated as one of the top chefs in South Africa for culinary consistency. Guests should get onto the R28/N14 (Main freeway between Krugersdorp & Pretoria).
Travel on the R28/N14 towards Krugersdorp until you reach a 4 way intersection with Traffic lights (Pinehaven Sasol Garage)
At the 4 way intersection, turn right onto the R47 and travel for about 10km until you reach a T-junction. At the T-junction (Oaktree Zenex Garage)- turn right onto R563.
Travel for about 20km on the R563 (do not take the Tarlton road/turn off - continue on the R563) Do not turn left at the Maropeng sign, continue straight on. Continue through the mountain pass until you see the second Magaliesburg sign on the left. Turn left.
Travel for about 8km until you see the boards Bekker School & De Hoek Country House. Turn right.Travel until you reach the stop sign, turn left - travel for about 2km and you will see our gate on the left hand side. Turn left.
